Here’s a look at the difference you made this year:
7,989 students supported in 2025
86 educators received Classroom Innovation Grants, totaling $51,882 to fund projects that enhance learning and engagement
1,361 students experienced Arts in the Classroom performances
46 students received $15,886 in assistance for hearing aids, molds, and eyeglasses
26 students received $41,007 in adaptive equipment to support independence
17 students participated in the Autism Independence Project, with $13,750 in scholarships awarded
250 students and families were helped through the Critical Needs program, with $18,184 spent on essentials
$2,700 raised to support our Critical Needs Coat Drive
35 students benefited from Kids-to-Camp, supported by camperships totaling $16,780
16 students participated in the Fred Saigh Leadership Academy
- 7 grants were awarded to SSD principals through SEF’s Women Leaders, including support for projects at the Juvenile Detention Center and Bridges Program totalling $11,000
Because of your generosity, students had access to adaptive tools, arts and enrichment programs, leadership opportunities, summer learning experiences, and essential support to thrive in and out of the classroom.
