The Special Education Foundation (SEF) is a dedicated not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to supporting students with disabilities in St. Louis County. Our mission is to bridge the gap between what public funding provides and what these students need to achieve their full potential.
Our organization is focused on empowering students' success both in and beyond the classroom. Through a range of programs, we strive to offer resources and opportunities that go beyond what tax dollars can cover, ensuring that every student has the chance to thrive.
Since 1984, the Foundation has supported students served by the Special School District (SSD) of Saint Louis County through various initiatives, including:
