In years past, the Special Education Foundation has included a Missouri Lotto Ticket raffle fundraiser to support the Dan McLaughlin Charity Golf Tournament and Auction. This mini fundraiser has been a spirited competition between the teachers and staff of the Special School District schools.
However, this year, SEF is excited to announce a new twist: instead of awarding one winner of a lotto ticket bundle at the conclusion of the golf tournament, we want to make everyone a winner while supporting our mission.
SEF is pleased to announce its partnership with Vertical Raise to support this year's Dan McLaughlin Charity Golf Tournament and Auction. This innovative collaboration aims to raise vital funds for the foundation’s mission through the sale of online discount cards, a unique and convenient fundraising tool.
Each online discount card is available for purchase at $25 and offers discounts that can be used nationwide. This means that supporters from coast to coast can participate in this fundraiser, enjoying savings at a wide range of retailers and restaurants, while contributing to a worthy cause.

SEF’s Kid to Camp Challenge and Payroll Deduction
Our Kid-to-Camp Challenge is back and for SSD educators and staff, signing up for Payroll Deduction makes it easy to participate!
SEF's Kid-to-Camp Challenge is driven by the belief that every child, regardless of abilities, deserves the enriching experience of attending camp. Through the Payroll Deduction option, all SSD educators and staff can pledge support for the Kid-to-Camp Challenge, spread over eight pay periods.
By participating, you're helping ensure every child, regardless of their abilities, can experience the joy and growth opportunities that camp offers. With the added incentive of receiving local favorites like Pretzel Boys coupons for a $50 donation, a unique SEF T-shirt for $100, and a $25 gift certificate to Giannino’s Restaurant group for $250 or more, signing up for payroll deduction is a no-brainer.
