Camperships Available to Fill the Educational Gap During Spring Break

The Special Education Foundation (SEF) recognizes the importance of filling the educational gap during school breaks. The Kid-to-Camp program offers financial assistance to parents/guardians of children served by the Special School District. This program ensures that your child can attend camp during breaks in the school year.

Camp programs in the area play a crucial role in extending the benefits of education beyond the classroom. Attending camp not only enhances social and educational aspects but also provides opportunities for interaction, friendship development, and building relationships that boost confidence and independence. We understand that the additional expense may be challenging for many families, and that's where SEF steps in, covering areas not supported by tax dollars or United Way.

Campership funds are awarded based on financial need and student benefit and applications are accepted year-round. Visit our website’s application page to learn more about eligibility requirements and to submit an online application.

Are you seeking camp resources? Explore the variety of camp options available for students with disabilities, including day and overnight camps for spring, winter, and summer breaks. Secure a memorable and enriching camp experience for your child with SEF's Kid-to-Camp program! Apply today.
