Are you looking for a fun way to learn more about valuable community resources?  Join the Special School District’s Family Academy event on Saturday, November 4 from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.  

The Family Academy allows families to select their choice of learning opportunities throughout the day. Topics include math, literacy, self-determination, transition, social-emotional learning, assistive technology, and more!  

Over 15 community agencies will be participating to support families as they navigate systems and support. There will also be a presentation from Crisis Aid International regarding support for families to prevent the exploitation of students with disabilities.

The event is being held on November 4th at Northview School at 1520 Derhake Road, Florissant, MO 63033. All are welcome, but please register to attend at www.ssdmo.org/familyacademy.
