Opera on the Go! featuring Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha at Southview School
Sponsored by the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis, students will be introduced to the fantastic world of opera featuring a 30-minute semi-staged performance of Scott Joplin’s stylish opera Treemonisha including the iconic “A Real Slow Drag” accompanied by piano. Designed for grades 3-12, each program includes three mini workshops: Music & Drama, Character & Movement, and Makeup.
