Opera on the Go! featuring Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance at Southview School
Students will be introduced to the fantastic world of opera with OTSL’s Opera on the Go! program, featuring an in-person, semi-staged performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s 1879 comic opera Pirates of Penzance. Designed for grades 3–12, each program includes three workshops: Music and Drama, Character and Movement, and Stage Makeup! The program is recommended for groups of 100 students or fewer for the workshops and as many as desired for the opera performance.
