What started as a cool October morning quickly turned into a beautiful fall day—perfect for the 23rd Annual Dan McLaughlin Charity Golf Tournament & Auction!
The tournament is the Special Education Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year, bringing together hundreds of golfers, volunteers, and community supporters—all united by one goal: to make a difference in the lives of students with disabilities across St. Louis County.
From early tee times to exciting auction moments, the day was filled with generosity, camaraderie, and plenty of fun. Even FredBird (and a few festive super heroes) joined in the celebration!
This year’s Fund-A-Need “paddle raise” supported all SEF programs, ensuring we can continue to meet critical needs throughout the year, including:
- Classroom Innovation Grants – empowering teachers to bring creative, hands-on learning projects to life.
- Critical Needs – providing essentials like adaptive equipment, clothing, or transportation so students can attend school comfortably and safely.
- Scholarships and Camperships – helping students pursue higher education or enjoy inclusive summer experiences.
Thanks again this year to a generous matching donation from the Toombs family; attendees helped SEF raise funds to support students and educators across the Special School District of St. Louis County.
Congratulations to our winning teams:
Additional congratulations go out to Allen Palmquist, winner of the Ultimate Golf Raffle!
We are still tallying the final results, but one thing is certain—this year’s tournament was a hole-in-one!
A heartfelt thank you to our Superheroes—golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, committee, and vendors—your support makes this event possible each year and helps SEF continue to make a lasting impact on students and families across our community. Save the date for next year— October 12, 2026!
