Tumble for a Cause to Support Students with Hearing Challenges

Looking for a fun, affordable night out—without the babysitter hassle? Olympia Gymnastics and the Special Education Foundation (SEF) are teaming up this October to make playtime purposeful with Kids Night Out—an evening your kids will love and a cause worth supporting.

What’s Kids Night Out?

Kids Night Out invites children to enjoy action-packed gymnastics and ninja courses, team games, creative crafts, and plenty of laughter. While kids are busy having fun, parents get to relax for a few hours. But the fun is more than just entertainment: a portion of the proceeds supports SEF’s Adaptive Equipment Program, with emphasis on audiology needs.

Events run on select Saturdays from 5:00–9:00 PM or 6:00–10:00 PM (times vary by location). Upcoming dates include October 4 (Rockhill), October 10 (Festus), October 11 (Ellisville, Manchester, Team Central), and October 18 (Chesterfield, Ellisville Ninja, Mid Rivers).

Why Your Participation Matters

By joining Kids Night Out, you’re not only giving your child a memorable evening—you’re also contributing to a deeper mission: helping students with hearing needs access essential supports. SEF’s Adaptive & Assistive Equipment program funds specialized audiology devices—such as hearing aids, molds, and assistive listening systems—for students aged 3–21 who are served by the Special School District (SSD) of St. Louis County.

Because tax dollars often don’t cover all specialized equipment, SEF steps in to fill gaps. These include:

  • hearing aids
  • hearing molds
  • alarm clocks
  • other audiology devices

Applications for assistance are accepted year-round, initiated by SSD professionals. Financial need is a key factor in awarding support.

Sign up here for Kids Night Out as space is limited!

Thank you for making playtime purposeful by turning a night of fun for kids into a chance to empower students who rely on audiology support to fully engage in school and life.
