Applications Open for Kid-to-Camp— Winter Break 2025

Applications are now open for SEF’s Kid-to-Camp program for Winter Break 2025!

Our Kid-to-Camp program gives students with disabilities opportunities to experience the joy and growth that come from attending camp. Whether it’s building friendships, trying new activities, or simply enjoying a safe space to be themselves, camp offers opportunities for students to build independence, confidence, and social skills that last long after camp ends.

Through this program, the SEF provides funding support so that students served by the Special School District of St. Louis County can attend a camp of their choice. Many families share that Kid-to-Camp experiences have been life-changing, helping students discover new passions and build stronger connections with peers.

“Attending camp gave Tyler something fun to do for the summer and he made new friends. He enjoyed going to different places, participating in different activities, and going for rides.

Tyler had a blast this summer and I owe it all to your organization. He would not have been able to attend if it wasn’t for your generosity, thank you!” ~Erica, Mother

Eligibility Reminder: In keeping with our program policy, students are eligible if they have not yet received Kid-to-Camp support in 2025, as the program funds one camp per year per student.

We look forward to making Winter Break an unforgettable experience for students with disabilities across our community! Learn more and apply today.
