Foundation Recognized by NAACP of St. Louis County

The St. Louis County NAACP presented their Commitment to Education award to the Special Education Foundation on June 3, 2014, at the Ritz-Carlton. The award, received at the NAACP’s 76th annual Freedom Fund Leadership Dinner, honored the Foundation for its continued support of and financial resources provided to under-served children in the St. Louis community. More than 900 area educators, community leaders and NAACP supporters attended its premier annual fundraising event to recognize individuals, corporations and organizations committed to NAACP’s advocacy for the elimination of racial discrimination and the opportunity for all to enjoy political, social and educational equal rights.
